Kari Pencil
Kari is currently completing her licensure in Mental Health Counseling through the University of Northern Iowa. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University and her Master’s degree in School Counseling from Western Illinois University–Quad Cities. Before pursuing clinical mental health counseling, Kari served as a School Counselor for 13 years in the Quad Cities area.
Kari provides counseling for children, teens, and adults, using a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach to help clients identify patterns, build coping skills, and make meaningful changes in their lives. She strives to create a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel heard and empowered in their growth.
Kari lives in the Quad Cities with her family. Outside of her work, she enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and cheering on her children in their many activities.
