Dr. Grant is a recent doctoral graduate from Adler University, formerly known as the Adler School of Professional Psychology located in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Grant studied Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on learning about children and adolescents and how issues experienced during childhood play a significant and vital role in shaping the client’s current perceptions of their life and the world around them. Dr. Grant is very interested in working with clients from all walks of life and utilizing psychodynamic therapy models, along with, evidence-based treatments to help clients understand and improve their current symptomology. This is critical in helping clients develop skills and attitudes that will enable them to grow and move forward in their lives. Dr. Grant really enjoys working individually with clients and conducting psychological assessments, as well as helping clients’ process and understand issues of identity, race/culture, trauma/abuse, grief/loss, PTSD, childhood trauma and/or abuse, silent grief and loss-Miscarriage/Stillborn/Infant Loss, personality disorders, Bipolar disorder, Psychosis and Psychotic Disorders and symptoms of Depression and Anxiety. Collectively, Dr. Grant’s clinical experiences have afforded her the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse populations including LGBTQ, foster care, homelessness, psychosis, substance abuse, under-served minorities, and people of color.

 Types of Services Offered

Dr. Grant possesses experience and skill with performing full clinical psychological evaluations, as well as providing individual and group therapy. Experience and expertise with clinical assessments include testing for the following diagnoses: Learning Disorder, ADHD, Psychotic disorders, Personality disorders, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, Substance abuse, and Sexual Dysfunction. Dr. Grant is adept in the areas of cognitive, achievement, projective, personality, substance use/abuse, and neuropsychological testing.

 Dr. Grant specializes in the following clinical treatments/orientations for Individual therapy treatment:  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-centered therapy, Adlerian, Psychodynamic, Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-focused Therapy, and Strength-based modalities.
